Vincent Morton Jr

DIGITAL ARCHIVIST AND COMMUNICATIONS EXPERT

Vincent Morton Jr presently serves as an archivist and communication contributor at the Black American Register of Bailey’s Crossroads.  


Background:

  •  A proud child of a prominent family in Crossroads, Vincent has been a key member in the Education and Technology space for the last nine years working for various Research 1 Universities and various levels of Government IT Firms.

   

Education and Professional Experience:

  • A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and Frostburg State University, Vincent is not only a dedicated technologist but also a published author. 
  • Throughout his career, he has committed himself to the education and motivation of his peers, aiming to excel in every arena he enters.


Involvement with Black American Register of Bailey’s Crossroads:

  • Vincent is responsible for coordinating the archival of photos and other cultural artifacts from the various families who have called Bailey’s Crossroads home—over the decades.
  • He also supports fundraising and communications’ efforts for the organization


Creative Pursuits:   

  • Vincent finds joy in athletics and travel. His enthusiasm extends to exploring new foods and embracing diverse cultural perspectives. 
  • Above all, he takes pleasure in cheering for the Washington Commanders and Washington Nationals when he's not immersed in work or studies.

   

He is a committed technologist and published author, dedicating his career to the education and motivation of his fellowman and striving to be recognized as one of the best in every arena he enters.
