Alyce is the lead historian and her passion for community activism and positive change led her to address the lack of historical information on Black communities in Bailey's Crossroads.

- Grew up and lives in Bailey’s Crossroads, Virginia with a family history that spans over six generations of Bailey's Crossroads and Springdale residence.
- Graduated from Jeb Stuart (Justice) High School in 1980.
- Holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and a Master's degree in Clinical Community counseling.
Professional Experience:
- Early Childhood Specialist at Fairfax County Public Schools for over 30 years
- Design and implement age-appropriate curriculum, incorporating play-based learning to enhance cognitive, social, and emotional skills.
- Conduct developmental assessments and collaborate with parents to create individualized plans that support each child's unique needs.
